A pivot, a renewal, a return to being. A different kind of pottery shop. One where the work is made before you. With a spirit of ease, as a daily practice, with self, in community- a sacred ritual. A place to make and sell my art.

Easy is a dream realized. My first ever in-person shop. In the heart of Blowing Rock, North Carolina- I (Katy Lane), have the great privilege of sitting at my pottery wheel, or typewriter, and creating original pots and poetry for the people of Appalachia (and the many other places from which they roam!)

After selling work primarily online for the last five years, and teaching pottery in homemade secluded pottery studios; being in real time, with real, beautiful human beings, making art, connecting, sitting in the present moment- is a gift.

I hope to share that gift with you through the art I make during this tender, precious time. Come n’ see me 5 days a week, Wednesday-Monday! I’ll be there, makin’ and sellin’ my art, 11-5 (except Sundays- 1-5 Sundays! Cause, ya know, God and rest and all that.)
